Air defense forces neutralized seven missiles and 125 drones used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine from the evening of June 27.
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Telegram.
According to the military, since 18:00 on June 27, the enemy attacked with two Zircon/Onyx anti-ship missiles from Kursk region, six Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles from Bryansk region, as well as 142 Shahed-type attack UAVs, including jet-powered ones, Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy drones from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), as well as temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske (Crimea).
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data as of 08:30 on June 28, air defenses shot down/suppressed one Zircon/Onyx anti-ship missile, six Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, and 125 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Preliminary information indicates one missile strike and 14 attack UAV hits at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAV debris at 13 locations.
Several attack drones remain in Ukrainian airspace.
As Ukrinform reported, two people were injured in Kyiv as a result of a massive Russian attack overnight on June 28.
