Could brain-drain leave Israel brain-dead?
Figures show that not only are more people leaving Israel, but the ones emigrating are also more educated. It is not a crisis yet, but could become one if Netanyahu retains power
Imagine an Israel without a high-tech industry, without enough doctors to care for its population, or lacking the scientific and engineering talent to produce the next generation of Iron Dome interceptors. The country would be much poorer, less healthy and quite possibly incapable of defending itself.
