Exilenova+ said occupied Sevastopol was under attack and published footage that appeared to show Russian forces attempting to shoot down aerial targets over the city.
Explosions were also reported near the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant.
Later, Atesh claimed that the attack was affecting the entire peninsula.
Monitoring channels also reported that Russian air defenses were operating in several areas.
The reports came after Ukraine’s Security Service said its Alpha Special Operations Center had carried out successful strikes on Russian air defense systems near the Kerch Strait, as well as infrastructure at the Saki and Gvardeyskoye military airfields in occupied Crimea.
The full scale of the overnight attack remains unclear.
