Four Ukrainian regions partially without power after Russian attacks

New power outages were recorded as of the morning of 5 May in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Kharkiv oblasts following Russian drone strikes.
Details: Emergency repair works are underway wherever security conditions allow.
Ukrenergo also reported that electricity consumption has decreased. As of 09:30 on 5 May, it was 4.1% lower than at the same time on the previous working day, Friday.
According to the company, the drop is due to clear weather across all regions, which improves the performance of domestic solar power installations and reduces demand from the national grid.
Given these conditions, energy providers advise shifting active electricity use to the period of peak solar power generation – between 10:00 and 16:00.
"In the evening, there remains a need for economical electricity consumption. Please limit the use of high-power electrical appliances from 18:00 to 22:00," Ukrenergo said.
Background: As of the morning of 4 May, outages had also been recorded in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts following attacks on energy infrastructure.
