IDF data: Over 90 percent of Iranian missiles fired at Israel have been intercepted
Military officials say the dispersion of cluster munitions cannot always be prevented even if the missile itself is intercepted and estimate that Iran still has about 1,000 ballistic missiles

Iran launched 365 ballistic missiles at Israel since the start of the war on February 28 until Thursday morning, the Israel Defense Forces said. The military's data also showed that 285 of the missiles crossed into Israeli airspace; about 270 were intercepted by Israel's air defenses, for an interception rate exceeding 90 percent. Military officials warned, however, that interceptions of missiles with cluster warheads do not always neutralize the missiles' submunitions, or bomblets.
