Overnight into Tuesday, Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis reported a fatality from Israeli fire in northwestern Khan Younis, and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central Strip reported early this morning a fatality in a strike in Al-Zawaida.
Israel struck several villages across southern Lebanon Tuesday, killing four people and targeting several vehicles, Lebanese media reported.

The Israeli military struck the village of Shehour, adjacent to the Litani River, and fired artillery nearby, the Lebanese National News Agency reported. Other Lebanese media outlets reported three drone strikes in Toul, resulting in one person killed, the NNA said. According to the reports, one strike targeted a vehicle. An additional strike was reported in Ghandouriyeh.
Later Tuesday, another vehicle was struck in the Nabatieh district, the Beirut-based Qatari-owned media outlet Al-Modon reported. According to the NNA, one person was killed in the strike. Al-Modon reported an additional strike in the city of Nabatieh.
The NNA also reported that two Syrian farmers were killed while working in a field in Jebshit.
On Monday, an Israeli drone strike killed a dentist along with his son and daughter in their vehicle, as they were returning from Sidon, the NNA said. According to the victims' families, the doctor had traveled to Sidon with his children to handle university and school matters and to sit exams.

According to the reports, the settlers set a vehicle on fire and sprayed hateful messages.
Outgoing Mossad chief David Barnea said at his farewell ceremony that "Iran will never have nuclear weapons" and called for completing the campaign against the regime in Tehran.

According to Barnea, the Iranian regime is "weaker, more challenged and more vulnerable," and replacing it is "a feasible and attainable objective." He added that the mission "must remain at the top of our priorities."
Barnea is to be succeeded by Maj. Gen. Roman Gofman, who was appointed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Gofman, who was Netanyahu's military secretary, was investigated over his role in the army's illegal use of an Israeli minor in a military intelligence operation.
In December, Haaretz reported he had lied during an Israeli military probe into the matter.
Iran has not yet responded to a proposed final agreement with the United States aimed at ending the conflict between the two countries, and discussions on the final text are continuing in Tehran, a source close to the Iranian negotiating team told Mehr News on Tuesday.
The source said Iran was reviewing the proposal cautiously because of what it sees as a history of U.S. non-compliance and longstanding mistrust.
"Based on previous experiences, Iran is seeking tangible and real benefits," the source said.
Israel's Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon criticized the UN Security Council for choosing to condemn Israel instead of holding Hezbollah accountable for "the heaviest levels of fire since the April cease-fire."

Speaking at an emergency meeting called by France following the latest Israel-Lebanon escalations, Danon said Israel "did not wake up one morning and decide to enter Lebanon," for the residents of northern Israel, there was no real cease-fire because Hezbollah attacks "never really stopped."
Danon stated that the constant rocket launches at Israel by Hezbollah are a clear violation of the UN Security Council 1701, which was brokered after the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah war. The resolution mandates a cease-fire with Israel, the withdrawal of armed groups from southern Lebanon, and the reinforcement of the Lebanese army in the region.
Addressing the Security Council, Danon said: "The problem is Hezbollah. It's time you called them by their name." He added, "Instead of demanding Hezbollah's disarmament and the implementation of Resolution 1701, some choose to condemn Israel for defending its citizens. Israel will not wait for drones to explode over its cities. If there is no calm in northern Israel, there will be no calm for Hezbollah in Lebanon. No terrorist will enjoy immunity."
U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "crazy" and accused him of ingratitude during a phone conversation on Monday.
According to Axios, Trump "lashed out" at Netanyahu over the Israeli leader's threat to bomb Beirut and the IDF's escalation of attacks in Lebanon. Citing two U.S. officials and a third source briefed on the call, Axios described the call as "expletive-laden."
According to Axios, Trump was furious that Israeli operations against Hezbollah risked derailing ongoing diplomacy with Iran and undermining efforts to preserve a fragile regional cease-fire.
One of the officials cited by Axios said that Trump told Netanyahu that bombing the Lebanese capital would also increase Israel's global isolation. Two of the sources told Axios that "Trump claimed he'd helped keep Netanyahu out of jail, a reference to his support during Netanyahu's corruption trial."
Summarizing Trump's remarks to Netanyahu, the president reportedly said: "You're fucking crazy. You'd be in prison if it weren't for me. I'm saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this."
A second source briefed on the call said Trump was "pissed" and at one point yelled at Netanyahu: "What the fuck are you doing?"
The IDF said on Tuesday that the Air Force intercepted two projectiles that crossed from Lebanon into northern Israel early on Tuesday, and that a suspicious aerial target later fell inside Israeli territory near the Lebanese border.

No injuries were reported, the military added in a statement.
U.S. President Donald Trump said a framework agreement with Iran could be reached "over the next week," ABC News reported on Monday.

ABC reported that Trump told one of its correspondents in a phone interview that a memorandum of understanding to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and extend the current cease-fire could be completed and agreed to "over the next week."
"I still have to get a few more points," Trump said, according to ABC, adding that he had not yet signed off on the deal.
There has been no public confirmation from Iran that an agreement is imminent. Trump has previously announced ambitious timelines for diplomatic initiatives that were later delayed.
