In the Sumy region, 15 people were wounded, and one person was killed in Russian shelling over the past 24 hours.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on the Telegram channel of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"An elderly woman was killed, and 15 other people were injured. In the Konotop community, a 78-year-old woman was killed; an 8-year-old boy, women aged 41 and 75, and a 44-year-old man were injured. Vorozhba community – men aged 24, 52, 54, and 70, and a 48-year-old woman were injured. In the Hlukhiv community, men aged 46, 51, 54, 54, and 55 were injured. In the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, a 56-year-old man was injured," the report states.
It is noted that a 67-year-old man who was injured on June 6 in the Velyka Pysarivka community sought medical attention at the hospital.
In total, nearly 60 shelling incidents were recorded across 35 settlements in 20 communities of the region.
Private and apartment buildings, vehicles, non-residential premises, and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
The air raid alert lasted 20 hours and 13 minutes.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the morning, the Russians attacked Konotop, striking a residential high-rise building with a drone. As a result of the attack, a civilian woman was killed, and three other people were injured.
