'If another 4,000 leave we'll reach the point of no return,' says one resident of a community near the towns of Metula and Kiryat Shmona. Reservists on duty are doing all they can to keep it that way

The reservists in a company near the town of Metula on the Lebanese border were sent there last month just a month after their release from their previous stint. This is their seventh round of reserve duty since October 2023. They try not to complain; well, maybe only about the amount of food, which has decreased.
Protesters attempted to block vehicles while lying in the road, addressing officers deployed at the scene with "hateful chants."
Keren Terner had served as director-general of the Communications Ministry, and Liran Avisar Ben Horin served as director-general of both the Finance and Transportation Ministries.
The alleged target was named as Rabbi Michael Khoury by KAN and Radio Free Syria.
The ruling followed a procedurally fraught stretch in which the state repeatedly sought additional time and drew open judicial criticism.
