The IDF said it has "begun striking Hezbollah infrastructure" in southern Lebanon after issuing urgent evacuation warnings to several towns and villages around the Nabatieh and Sidon areas, outside of the IDF-controlled buffer zone, which the Israeli military has described as its "forward defense line" in military operations targeting Hezbollah that continue following the cease-fire between Lebanon and Israel.

The Treasury Department says it has suspended the implementation and enforcement of sanctions the Trump administration had imposed on the UN rapporteur for the West Bank and Gaza following a court order this week.
Two days after U.S. District Judge Richard Leon issued a preliminary injunction barring the administration from imposing sanctions on Francesca Albanese, Treasury said Friday that her designation "is not being implemented or enforced while this order is in effect."
In his ruling, which came in response to a lawsuit filed by Albanese's family earlier this year, Leon said the sanctions could be a violation of Albanese and her family members' First Amendment rights.
The sanctions were imposed after the State Department said Albanese, who has been highly critical of Israel's operations in Gaza, had engaged in a "campaign of political and economic warfare" against the U.S. and Israel by urging other countries to sanction Israel over alleged war crimes in Gaza and several U.S. companies for being "complicit" in those actions.
U.S. President Donald Trump told Fox News on Friday that United States military has the capability to dismantle Iran's critical infrastructure within 48 hours.
"I didn't underestimate anything," Trump said when asked about the country's leadership and capabilities. "We could take out their bridges and electricity capacity in two days. Everything."
During the interview, Trump discussed past attempts to negotiate with Tehran, stating that the two sides had previously approached the outline of an agreement. "We really had the confines of a deal," Trump said. "No nuclear, they were going to give us the dust... and every time they'd make a deal, the next day it's like we didn't have that conversation."
Trump said this sequence occurred about five times. "There's something wrong with them. Actually, they're crazy," he said, adding, "and you know what? Because of that, they cannot have a nuclear weapon."
When asked about the strategic options available to the current Iranian regime, Trump rejected the idea that they hold any real leverage. "They have no deck," Trump said. "The only thing they have going is a fake press."
