Russian forces carried out another drone attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia in the morning of June 6, resulting in a fire and injuries.
This was reported on Telegram by Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration,Ivan Fedorov, according to Ukrinform.
“Russians continue to attack Zaporizhzhia. An enemy drone caused a fire in a parking area near a multi-storey residential building in one of the city districts,” Fedorov wrote.
He added that, according to preliminary information, a woman was injured.
Earlier, Fedorov reported that Russian forces were launching drones at the regional center. The attacks caused damage to critical and industrial infrastructure facilities.
Two employees of one of the targeted facilities lost contact after the strike. It was later confirmed that they were killed.
As previously reported, Russian forces carried out 946 strikes over the past day across 55 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, two people were killed and five others injured.
