Buckley Carlson, son of far Right political commentator Tucker Carlson, has left his position working as a deputy press secretary for Vice President JD Vance, Politico reported, citing two sources familiar with the plan.
Buckley Carlson intends to launch his own political consulting firm, Politico said.

Laura Loomer, a far Right Jewish activist, said that Buckley Carlson's departure was "a big positive for JD Vance and his 2028 Presidential campaign," mentioning recent clashes between Tucker Carlson and US President Donald Trump.
Trump has insulted Tucker Carlson several times in recent posts on Truth Social, including saying he has a low IQ, calling him a "Hand Flailing Fool," and describing him as a "broken person" who should "see a good psychiatrist."
Loomer also claimed to have heard from sources within the White House that Trump had called Tucker Carlson an "antisemite," adding that "He’s not wrong."
Trump working for Israel, Buckley Carlson claims
Buckley Carlson has been critical of the United States' relationship with Israel, arguing that Trump has been acting in Israeli interests rather than American ones.
"Gratuitous reminder: the President works for US. For you, for me, for our neighbors, friends, children, and parents. He is invested with OUR power. He works for America & Americans," Buckley wrote in a post on X/Twitter on Saturday. "He doesn't work for his donors, for Israel, or for any other foreign power, or lobby group."
He also included "Iran-for-Israel" in a list of conspiratorial and controversial concepts associated with Trump and the US presidency, a reference to the theory that Israel pressured Trump into attacking Iran on February 28.
"Remember when you thought 911 was as presented? (I did, for a long time)," he wrote. "Now consider what you endured during Covid, Election 2020, J6 Fedsurrection, Epstein (even just the sickening partial reveal), Charlie, and Iran-for-Israel."
