Russian forces continued their extensive aerial campaign against Ukrainian infrastructure on Sunday, May 3, targeting the Odesa and Sumy regions.
In Odesa, the Head of the regional military administration Oleh Kiper reported that strikes on civilian and port infrastructure killed two people and injured five others.

Russian drones struck three residential buildings in the Odesa district, damaging two more, while port facilities and equipment also sustained damage. Emergency services have since extinguished the fires resulting from the attacks.
In the Sumy region, an FPV drone targeted a police vehicle in Bilopillia. The National Police reported that the vehicle was destroyed, leaving two officers with serious injuries.
One of the officers is currently in critical condition. This follows earlier strikes in the region, including a missile attack on the Krolevelets community that wounded six people and a drone strike in Putyvl that injured a child.
