Ukraine's Air Force downs 74 out of 94 Russian drones: hits recorded at 15 locations
Russia has attacked Ukraine with 94 Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas strike UAVs, as well as other types of drones, since the evening of 26 April. Ukrainian air defences have downed 74 of these drones, although hits have been recorded.

Russia has attacked Ukraine with 94 Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas strike UAVs, as well as other types of drones, since the evening of 26 April. Ukrainian air defences have downed 74 of these drones, although hits have been recorded.

Hits by 20 attack UAVs were recorded at 15 locations, while debris from downed drones fell at 11 locations."
Details:The Air Force added that the Russian forces had launched the drones from the Russian cities of Kursk, Oryol, Shatalovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Hvardiiske and Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea. About 60 of the UAVs were Shahed drones.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.
Background:
On the night of 26-27 April, Russian forcescarried out a large-scale drone attack on Odesa. Residential buildings, a hotel and vehicles were damaged, and at least 11 people, including two children, were injured.
On the morning of 27 April, theRussians attacked Koriukivkain Chernihiv Oblast with drones, injuring two people and damaging a critical infrastructure facility, two businesses and residential buildings.
