U.S. launches fresh strikes on Iran as Tehran expands Gulf retaliation
U.S. Central Command said the overnight operation struck dozens of Iranian military targets, while Tehran said its retaliation hit U.S. facilities in Jordan and Bahrain and disrupted two ships in the Strait of Hormuz

U.S. Central Command said early Monday it had completed a new wave of strikes against dozens of targets across Iran on Sunday night, hitting air defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities and small boats in an effort to degrade Tehran's ability to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
