Over the past 24 hours, on June 15, 228 combat clashes were recorded between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders on the front lines.
According to Ukrinform, this is stated in a Facebook post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the situation as of 8:00 a.m. on June 16.
The enemy launched two missile strikes, firing 74 missiles, and carried out 82 airstrikes, dropping 226 guided bombs.
In addition, the Russians deployed 9,297 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,726 shelling attacks, including 49 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The Air Force, Missile Forces, and Artillery of the Defense Forces struck six areas where Russian troops were concentrated and six UAV command posts.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the Russian Federation’s army carried out 56 shelling attacks, one of which was from MLRS. Three enemy assault operations were reported.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces attacked five times toward Starytsia, Izbytske, Vilcha, Vovchansk, and Vovchanski Khutory.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attacked four times toward Kupiansk, Kindrashivka, Kurylivka, and Podoly.
In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attempted to breach the defenses 23 times, attacking in the areas of Zarichne, Lyman, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Dibrova, Novomykhailivka, Novoyehorivka, Ozerne, and Yampil.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy launched 12 assaults toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and in the areas of Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, Zakitne, and Kalenyky.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russian invaders did not conduct any offensive operations.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 12 attacks in the areas of Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, Vilne, and toward Bilytske, Novoselivka, and Kostiantynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 Russian assaults toward Dobropillia, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Zatyshok, Shevchenko, Myrne, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Muravka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched four attacks toward Novoselivka, Kalynivske, Vyshneve, and Oleksandrohrad.
In the Huliaipole sector, the invaders carried out 22 attacks toward Zlahoda, Dobropillia, Radisne, Rivnopillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipole, Dolynka, Verkhnia Tersa, Ternuvate, Shyroke, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled five Russian attempts to advance in the areas of Pavlivka, Stepnohirsk, and Stepove.
In the Prydniprovske sector, Russian troops attacked toward Antonivka.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian offensive groupings were detected.
As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to June 16, 2026, amount to approximately 1,385,420 personnel.
