Air defense forces neutralized 108 out of 123 drones with which Russian invaders attacked Ukraine from the evening of July 6.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
From 18:00 on July 6, the Russians attacked with 123 Shahed-type strike UAVs (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and decoy drones of the Parodiia type from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo, Millerovo (Russia), temporarily occupied Donetsk, as well as Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 on July 7, air defense shot down / suppressed 108 drones in northern, southern, central, and eastern Ukraine.
There were 12 strike UAV hits at 10 locations, as well as downed debris falling at 5 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
As Ukrinform reported, Russian invaders attacked an industrial enterprise in the Poltava region, causing fires.
