Air Defense Forces shot down 95 of the 101 drones used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine since the evening of June 23.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on June 23, the enemy launched 101 combat drones, including Shahed-type (some jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya-type decoy drones, from the following directions: Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), as well as the temporarily occupied cities of Donetsk and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea).
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. on June 24, Air Defense Forces shot down or neutralized 95 drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Six combat UAVs hit five locations, and debris was found at six locations.
The attack is ongoing, and enemy drones remain in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of June 24, Russian drones attacked an industrial facility in the Poltava region.
