Two people were killed in Odesa overnight after drones struck a residential area; two others are currently in the hospital.
This was reported by the Odesa City Military Administration on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Two people were killed as a result of the strike on a residential area. Two more victims are currently in the hospital, where they are receiving all necessary care,” the statement said.
It is noted that civilian infrastructure sustained significant damage: dozens of private and apartment buildings, a dormitory, and a kindergarten building. Windows were shattered in the buildings, and roofs and facades were damaged. Restaurants were also damaged.
Infrastructure facilities were also hit.
Since last night, utility services have been working at all locations, the CMA reported. Specialists are boarding up damaged windows, patching roofs, and clearing debris and rubble from the areas.
A mobile operations center has been set up, where representatives of the district administration are assisting affected residents with the paperwork required to receive aid from the city budget and compensation under the “e-Recovery” program.
Work is ongoing.
