More than 200 demonstrators rallied outside the headquarters of The New York Times on Thursday, demanding the newspaper retract a column by columnist Nicholas Kristof that alleged widespread sexual abuse of Palestinians by Israeli guards, soldiers, and settlers. The protest follows a statement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who announced plans to sue the paper for defamation over the article.
