Israeli strikes kill several in southern Lebanon, state media reports
Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reported that Israeli forces launched several air attacks on the town of Deir ez-Zahrani at dawn, killing several people and wounding others.
The strikes reportedly hit residential buildings while residents were sleeping, prompting emergency rescue operations.
The agency said rescue workers were searching for victims and that “a number of people remain trapped under the rubble”.
Al Jazeera Arabic reported Israeli air strikes on the towns of Arnoun, Kfar Tebnit and Kfar Remman, while artillery shelling targeted Kfarjouz in the Nabatieh district and Dbeibine in the Marjayoun district.
