Israeli-US air strikes on residential areas in Iran’s Alborz province have killed at least 18 people, including two children, according to Iranian media reports.
The official Fars news agency reported that the province’s deputy governor confirmed the death toll, adding that 24 others were injured in the attacks.
Israel said the targeted Shiraz facility produced key missile-related chemical components, while new military footage showed strikes on Iranian air defense systems.
Sirens sounded across the region at approximately 9:10 a.m. following the identification of an Iranian missile, believed to contain a cluster munitions warhead, according to initial reports.
