Some consumers in the city of Kyiv and 11 oblasts are temporarily without electricity as of the morning of 14 May following Russian attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.
Details:Following one of the largest combined Russian attacks on Ukraine, power outages were recorded not only in the capital, but also in Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Lviv, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Khmelnytskyi oblasts.
Power engineers are operating in an enhanced mode to restore electricity supplies to all consumers as quickly as possible.
According to Ukrenergo, Ukraine's state-owned electricity transmission operator, adverse weather conditions, including thunderstorms and strong winds, have also left more than 50 settlements in Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava oblasts fully or partially without electricity by the morning.
