In the central part of Sumy, a Russian drone struck a shopping center, injuring two people.
This was reported on Telegram by Artem Kobzar, acting mayor of Sumy, according to Ukrinform.
“Today at approximately 9:05 a.m., a Molniya-type UAV struck one of the shopping centers in the central part of Sumy. The building was damaged, and windows were shattered as a result of the strike,” Kobzar said.
He noted that, according to preliminary information, two people were injured by debris, and medical personnel are providing them with all necessary assistance. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
The area is currently being surveyed.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of April 3, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the Shostka community in the Sumy region; one person was killed, and three were injured.
