Russian drone attacks killed a woman in Ukraine’s northeastern Sumy region, seriously injured another, and wounded three people in the southern city of Mykolaiv.
In the Sumy region, Russian forces launched a massive overnight drone attack on a civilian infrastructure site in the Shostka community, according to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

“As a result of the attack, a 44-year-old woman was killed,” Hryhorov wrote on Telegram.
Another woman, aged 33, suffered serious injuries.
The strike caused major destruction and damage to a three-story non-residential building. Officials said the full circumstances and consequences of the attack are still being clarified.
In Mykolaiv, three people were injured in a Shahed drone attack on the city, according to Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
“As a result of the Shahed attack on the city, three people were injured, all hospitalized,” Kim wrote on Telegram.
Private houses and vehicles were also damaged.
Earlier, a 67-year-old woman was killed in the Znob-Novhorodske community of Sumy region after a Russian drone hit a residential building.
The attacks came as Russia continued to strike Ukrainian cities and communities with drones, damaging civilian infrastructure, homes and vehicles.
