A strike on the village of Voznesenovka in the Shebekino district of Russia’s Belgorod region killed three people and wounded eight on April 29, according to preliminary reports.
The attack hit passenger bus No. 113, which runs the Shebekino–Nezhegol–Dobroye route, Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in a post on his Telegram channel.
Gladkov said all eight wounded have been hospitalized. Two are in serious condition and have been transferred to the regional clinical hospital.
Voznesenovka lies a few kilometers from the Ukrainian border in an area that has been under constant shelling. Before the full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine, the village had a population of about 1,500.
