On June 28, Russian forces carried out 46 attacks on settlements in the Sumy region, leaving two people dead.
That is according to the National Police, Ukrinform reports.
The Sumy, Shostka, Okhtyrka, and Konotop districts came under attack.
Investigative teams and explosives experts are working at the sites of the strikes.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, three women aged 69, 62, and 57, as well as a 48-year-old man, were injured. The 69-year-old woman later died in an ambulance.
In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a 77-year-old man was killed in a drone strike.

In the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, a 65-year-old man was injured when a drone hit a car.
In the Sumy community, drone attacks injured a 48-year-old woman and a 72-year-old man. A 78-year-old woman was also wounded.
Additionally, two men who were injured in Russian attacks on June 27 sought medical help: a 24-year-old resident of the Sumy community injured in a drone strike, and a 59-year-old resident of the Vorozhba community wounded in a guided aerial bomb attack.
Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
On June 27, 25 people were injured in Russian attacks on the Sumy region, including three children.
