Israel will mark Memorial Day for its soldiers killed and victims of terror attacks on Tuesday, with the central ceremony taking place at Mount Herzl military cemetery in Jerusalem following a two-minute siren that sounded at 11 A.M.
Last week, more than 100 bereaved families called on lawmakers and ministers not to speak at Memorial Day ceremonies in military cemeteries. In a letter sent to all coalition members, they urged them to "sanctify life, not the ethos of sacrifice."
The preparatory delegations of the United States and Iran have arrived in Islamabad ahead of the round of negotiations expected to take place on Wednesday, as reported by the Saudi Al Arabiya news.
The report said that, according to Pakistan, the talks are progressing positively and the participation of both sides in the negotiations has been approved.

A 16-year-old Palestinian cyclist was killed Tuesday after being struck by a car on Route 60 near Hebron, police said, adding that an investigation has been opened into the incident.
A security source said the vehicle belonged to a protection unit and was en route to secure Israeli Minister Orit Strock ahead of Memorial Day events. Local sources identified the victim as Mohammed al-Jaabari of Hebron.
