Air Defense Forces shot down 92 of the 99 drones used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine since the evening of June 19.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on June 19, the Russians launched 99 combat drones—including Shahed-type (some jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya-type decoy drones—from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m. on June 20, Air Defense Forces had shot down or neutralized 92 drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Seven combat UAVs struck three locations, and debris from downed drones was found at three locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones currently in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russians carried out 887 strikes on 47 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. Nineteen people were injured.
