Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 181 out of the 207 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine since the evening of June 9.
The Ukrainian Air Force announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to the military, beginning at 18:00 on Tuesday, June 9, Russian forces launched 207 attack UAVs, including Shahed-type drones (including jet-powered variants), Gerbera and Italmas drones, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parodiya decoy drones. The drones were launched from Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Chauda and Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The aerial attack was countered by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00 on Wednesday, June 10, air defenses had shot down or suppressed 181 drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Impacts from 21 attack UAVs were recorded at 14 location, while debris from downed drones fell at 13 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with enemy drones still in Ukrainian airspace.
