China urges Russia and Ukraine to resume peace talks as soon as possible

China has urged Russia and Ukraine to return to peace talks as soon as possible to end the war, with Beijing's deputy U.N. ambassador Sun Lei making the appeal during a U.N. Security Council meeting on June 30.
