Polish defense giant PGZ does not rule out opening office in Ukraine

The Polish state-owned defense holding Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) is considering opening an office in Ukraine to further develop cooperation with its Ukrainian partners.

PGZ CEO Adam Leszkiewicz made the statement in an interview with Ukrinform.

“Our cooperation with Ukraine did not begin just a year or two ago. We have been working together for much longer and are continuously exploring new projects and technological solutions. While we do not yet have an office in Ukraine, we do not rule out opening one in the future. At present, we work directly with individual Ukrainian companies,” Leszkiewicz said.

He added that PGZ is open to expanding cooperation with Ukrainian partners and hopes the number of joint projects will continue to grow.

Leszkiewicz noted that PGZ controls roughly 70–80% of Poland’s defense production market. The holding manufactures about 700 types of products across seven key business areas and operates nearly 100 enterprises throughout Poland.

As reported earlier, Polish private defense company WB Electronics plans to increase trade with Ukraine to €500 million by 2030.
