Some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Kharkiv oblasts remain temporarily without electricity as of the morning of 7 May following Russian attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.

Details:The energy ministry noted that no rolling power outages are forecast for today.
Ukrenergo, Ukraine's state-owned electricity transmission operator,reportedthat electricity consumption has begun to rise.
As of today (7 May) at 09:30, its level was 1.9% higher than at the same time on the previous day, 6 May. The increase is due to hot weather across most oblasts, leading to greater use of air conditioning.
Background:Following Russian attacks on energy infrastructure in frontline oblasts, new outages were recorded in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv oblasts on the morning of 6 May.
