Over the past 24 hours, from the morning of April 6 to the morning of April 7, Russian forces carried out 60 strikes on 23 settlements in 14 territorial communities of the Sumy region; one man was injured.
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook.
In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a 63-year-old man was wounded as a result of enemy shelling from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Four more children who were injured in the Sumy community as a result of a UAV attack on the night of April 4 received medical care: they are girls aged 8, 8, 9, and 10.
The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy, Shostka, and Okhtyrka districts.
The enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs.
In the Shostka community, private residential homes, an apartment building, outbuildings, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
In the Esman community, private residential homes and outbuildings were destroyed.
In the Shalyhyne community, a private residential house and farm buildings were destroyed, and a private passenger car was damaged.
In the Okhtyrka, Sumy, Trostianets, and Znob-Novhorod communities, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Eight people were evacuated from border communities over the past 24 hours.
As reported by Ukrinform, power and water outages occurred in Okhtyrka following a Russian strike on an infrastructure facility on April 6.
