The United States has once again dispatched a senior delegation to Pakistan for the second time for another round of negotiations with Iran on a permanent cease-fire in the Gulf war. Vice President JD Vance is heading the delegation. Meanwhile, over the course of Monday, Iran sent out conflicting messages on whether it would send a team to the talks in Islamabad, the Pakistani capital. It appears that a power struggle is underway in Tehran over whether to continue the talks.
