US President Donald Trump was reportedly not keen on attacking Iran earlier on Tuesday, according to The Wall Street Journal.
In a phone call with the journal, Trump downplayed Iran's downing a US helicopter, saying it "wasn’t a big deal".
The paper indicated that the president changed his mind after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine suggested military action during a briefing at the White House.
“We should have gone and brought the enriched uranium by force in a military operation during the campaign. That would have uprooted the nuclear program from Iran,” he said.
"The Gaza committee is an Israeli recipe for reinforcing Palestinian division," Rajoub said. "We should never have agreed to or accepted the committee under any circumstances."
Akram had been previously charged with committing a terrorist offense, 15 counts of murder, 40 counts of attempted murder, discharging a firearm with intent, and other criminal acts.
