Ukraine wipes out about 35,000 Russian troops monthly, figure could rise if Moscow steps up mobilisation – Air Force
Colonel Pavlo Yelizarov, Deputy Commander of Ukraine's Air Force, has said that Ukraine is currently wiping out about 35,000 Russian troops each month, but the number could rise if Russia increases the pace of recruitment into its armed forces.

Colonel Pavlo Yelizarov, Deputy Commander of Ukraine's Air Force, has said that Ukraine is currently wiping out about 35,000 Russian troops each month, but the number could rise if Russia increases the pace of recruitment into its armed forces.
Details: When asked whether Ukraine has come close to wiping out 50,000 Russian troops per month, Yelizarov replied: "They don't have enough people. We could do more according to the plan. But, you know, it is difficult to pick apples in an orchard where there are no apples left."
The colonel noted that Russian forces are currently facing a shortage of personnel and need to "up the pace a little".
At present, he said, Ukraine is wiping out about 35,000 Russian soldiers each month: "If they increase the pace, the number of losses will also rise. If they move slowly, it will remain at the level of 30,000-35,000."
Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said after his appointment that Ukraine needs to wipe out 50,000 Russian troops per month on the front lines.
