Ukraine’s air defense forces intercepted 460 Russian aerial targets, including 58 missiles and 402 drones of various types.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Starting from 18:00 on Friday, March 13, Russian forces carried out a combined strike on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure using attack drones as well as land- and sea-based missiles.
In total, the radar surveillance units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detected 498 aerial attack weapons, including:
The main direction of the strike was the Kyiv region.
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 on Saturday, March 14, Ukraine’s air defenses shot down or suppressed 460 targets, including:
Hits by six missiles and 28 attack drones were recorded at 11 locations, while debris from downed UAVs fell at seven locations.
Information regarding four enemy missiles is still being clarified.
The attack is ongoing, with several hostile drones still detected in Ukrainian airspace.
As previously reported, in the Kyiv region, four people were killed and 15 injured as a result of the Russian attack on March 14.
