Ukraine's defence forces are repelling Russian attacks along the entire line of contact, with 120 clashes recorded over the past day.

A total of 120 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day, with the Ukrainian defence forces repelling Russian attacks along the entire line of contact.

Quote: "Yesterday [5 April] the enemy launched 72 airstrikes, dropping 242 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy used 8,367 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,404 strikes on settlements and Ukrainian positions, including 52 from multiple-launch rocket systems."
Details: On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, the Russians launched an airstrike, using 3 guided bombs, and conducted 83 strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 2 from multiple-launch rocket systems. One combat clash occurred.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians tried to break through Ukrainian defences towards the settlements of Starytsia and Vovchansk twice.
On the Kupiansk front, the Russians attacked seven times towards the settlements of Novoosynove, Novoplatonivka, Petropavlivka and Kurylivka.
On the Lyman front, the Russians attacked twice towards the settlements of Kopanky and Lyman.
On the Sloviansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled four Russian attempts to advance near the settlements of Yampil, Zakitne and Riznykivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians attacked twice near the village of Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
On the Kostiantynivka front, the Russians conducted 19 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka and Sofiivka.
On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders stopped 25 Russian assaults near the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Rivne, Udachne, Muravka, Novopavlivka and Filiia.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the Russians attacked eight times near the settlements of Sichneve and Krasnohirske and towards Sosnivka, Stepove, Verbove and Kalynivske.
On the Huliaipole front, Russians attacked 12 times near the settlements of Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Huliaipole, Sviatopetrivka, Varvarivka and Zelene.
On the Prydniprovske front, the Russians conducted three unsuccessful assaults towards the Antonivka Bridge and near Bilohrudyi Island.
"Over the past day, Ukraine's Air Force and Rocket Forces and Artillery units have struck eight clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment, a UAV command post and one other important facility," the General Staff reported.
