The Trump administration has issued new official recommendations allowing immigration officers to deny green card applications based on certain political expressions, including participation in pro-Palestinian campus protests, criticism of Israel on social media and desecration of the American flag, according to internal Department of Homeland Security training materials reviewed by The New York Times.
