A vessel being “taken by unauthorised personnel” near the UAE’s Fujairah, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (Ukmto) Centre.
The organisation said the vessel reported being at anchor some 70km from Fujairah when it was seized, and is now heading towards Iran’s territorial waters.
The wounded were evacuated to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya for treatment.
New capability would reduce reliance on aerial refueling and improve operational flexibility in long-range missions. But it remains unclear if it would affect aircraft's stealth capabilities
The event, which took place near the Old City walls, drew approximately 30 senior diplomats from 15 countries.
