Details:Von der Leyen confirmed the EU's intention to disburse the first €6 billion tranche of the €90 billion loan to Ukraine in the second quarter of 2026.
Quote:"In spring we have said that we would deliver on the €90 billion loan for Ukraine, in one way or the other. Now we made good on this promise. We will disperse the first tranche of €45 billion for 2026, still this quarter."
