Over the past day, March 26, there were 150 combat clashes between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian troops along the front line. The enemy exerted the greatest pressure on the Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole sectors.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, publishing operational information as of 08:00 on Friday, March 27.
"A total of 150 combat clashes were recorded over the past day," the statement said.
According to the General Staff, yesterday the enemy carried out 68 airstrikes, dropping 227 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces used 9,190 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,906 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian positions, including 98 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor launched airstrikes, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Korenok in Sumy region; Pysantsi and Vasylivka in Dnipropetrovsk region; Verkhnya Tersa, Dolynka, Liubytske, Novosoloshyne, Veselianka, Huliaipilske, Zaliznychne, Shevchenkivske, and Preobrazhenka in Zaporizhzhia region.
Over the past day, Ukraine’s aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck five areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, as well as one other important target.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out 69 shelling attacks over the past day, including one using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy twice attempted to storm Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Starytsia and Zybyne.
In the Kupiansk sector, the aggressor attacked once near the settlement of Novoosynove.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy launched eight attacks, attempting to break through defenses near Nadiia, Tverdokhlibove, Drobysheve, Stavky, and Lyman.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attempts by the occupiers to advance near Platonivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Riznykivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, no offensive actions were recorded.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 23 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Berestok, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 42 assault actions in the areas of Shakhove, Novopidhordne, Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Pokrovsk, and Molodetske, as well as toward Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Kucheriv Yar, and Svitłe.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked ten times near Oleksandrohrad, Vyshneve, and Krasnohirsk.
In the Huliaipole sector, there were 22 attacks near Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Myrne, and Sviatopetrivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy launched three attacks near Tokmachka, Stepove, and Shcherbaky.
In the Prydniprovske sector, no offensive actions were recorded.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected on the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
As Ukrinform previously reported, there were 133 combat clashes on the front line earlier, with nearly 60 attacks concentrated on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors.
