War update: 256 clashes on front line over past day, fiercest fighting in Pokrovsk and Sloviansk sectors

War update: 256 clashes on front line over past day, fiercest fighting in Pokrovsk and Sloviansk sectors

Over the past 24 hours (June 26), Ukrainian forces recorded 256 combat clashes with Russian troops.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook in its 8:00 update on June 27, as cited by Ukrinform.

Russian forces carried out three missile strikes using six missiles, 90 airstrikes, and dropped 270 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 9,716 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,018 artillery strikes.

Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck four clusters of enemy personnel, three artillery systems, two command posts, and three UAV control points.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, 10 clashes occurred. Russia conducted two airstrikes using two guided bombs and 74 artillery strikes, including three from MLRS.

In the Southern-Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 attacks, as Russian forces attempted advances near Starytsia and toward Kozacha Lopan, Radkivka, and Lyman.

In the Kupiansk sector, there were three Russian attacks toward Kolisnykivka, Bohuslavka, and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces launched 14 attacks near Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Ozerne, as well as toward Yampil, Novomykhailivka, Novoselivka, Novoiehorivka, and Shyikivka.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces launched 29 assault operations near Kryva Luka, Riznykivka, Zakitne, and Kalenyky, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, there were two enemy attacks toward Malynivka and Mykolaivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 18 attacks were repelled near Illinivka, Kostiantynivka, and Pleshchiivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces halted 31 enemy attacks near Novooleksandrivka, Bilytske, Rodynske, and Serhiivka, as well as toward Toretske, Zatyshok, Dorozhnie, Matiasheve, Vasylivka, Hryshyne, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Udachne, and Novomykolaivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, there were two Russian attacks toward Verbove and Vorone.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces launched 24 attacks near Rybne, Dobropillia, Huliaipilske, and Sviatopetrivka, as well as toward Staroukrainka, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, and Chervone.

In the Orikhiv sector, two Russian attempts to advance toward Stepove and Luhivske were repelled.

In the Dnipro River sector, no assault operations were reported.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of formation of offensive enemy groups were detected.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russia’s total combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion (February 24, 2022, to June 27, 2026) are estimated at around 1,399,720 personnel.
