In Russia’s Krasnodar region, drones attacked a maritime terminal overnight, setting it on fire.
According to Ukrinform, the Telegram channel ASTRA reported this, citing local authorities.
According to the region’s governor, Veniamin Kondratyev, the drones attacked the Temryuk District of the Krasnodar region. According to preliminary data, one person was killed and three were injured as a result of the attack.
“As for the fire, 96 people are fighting it, with over 30 pieces of equipment deployed, including from Russia’s Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief. Emergency and special services continue to work at the scene,” the governor said.
The Temryuk seaport is located in this district, situated in the Gulf of Azov on the Taman Peninsula. Russia uses it to supply its armed forces. Various types of cargo pass through this port, including liquefied hydrocarbon gas and other petroleum products.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region was struck overnight on June 11.
