Russia has attacked Ukraine with seven ballistic missiles and 189 UAVs of various types since the evening of 25 June. Ukrainian air defence forces have shot down or jammed three missiles and 174 of the drones. The Russian attack is ongoing.
Quote:"As of 09:00, air defence had shot down or jammed 177 aerial assets – three Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 174 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas drones, as well as drones of other types, over the north, south, centre and east of the country. Hits by four ballistic missiles and 11 attack UAVs have been recorded at 12 locations, and debris from intercepted assets has fallen at six locations."
Details:The Russians launched the ballistic missiles from Russia's Bryansk and Kursk oblasts, targeting Kyiv and Poltava oblasts.
The drones were launched from the directions of the Russian cities of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske (Crimea).
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.
As of the morning, the attack is ongoing, as several Russian UAVs are still in Ukrainian airspace.
