Seven Palestinians were wounded in a settler attack in the village of Madama, south of Nablus, on Saturday morning, according to the Red Crescent, as settler violence was reported across the West Bank over the weekend. Incidents included arson, trespassing, stone-throwing and other harassment and property damage.
Salam’s comments came amid the now-revealed IDF operation of crossing the Litani River, where it successfully secured the Beaufort Ridge and Wadi al-Saluki areas of southern Lebanon.
The conviction came as part of a plea agreement between the parties.
The two residents, Hussein Ghanayem and Abd al-Rahim Hamida, allegedly planned to throw an explosive device at an IDF base.
