Russian forces struck the city of Lozova in Kharkiv Oblast with an attack drone on the night of 2-3 July, injuring six people, including three children. A 10-year-old girl sustained the most serious injuries and was taken to hospital with burns to around 40% of her body.

Quote: "The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation struck the city of Lozova in Kharkiv Oblast at around 02:45 on 3 July. Early reports indicate that the enemy used a Geran-2 drone in the attack.

Houses have been damaged in the strike."

Details: Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported that a 31-year-old man, his 27-year-old wife, their three daughters aged 10, 6 and 1 and the woman's 58-year-old mother had been injured.

The 10-year-old girl has suffered the most severe injuries. She has been diagnosed as suffering from blast injuries and thermal burns covering about 40% of her body and taken to hospital in a critical condition.

The State Emergency Service reported that a drone had struck a residential property occupied by two people. A fire broke out there. A residential building and two cars were on fire.

All residents of the property were in the cellar when the strike occurred. The blast wave jammed the door, leaving them unable to get out on their own. Rescue workers freed five people, including two children.

The prosecutor's office has launched a pre-trial investigation into a suspected war crime under Article 438.1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Background: On the night of 2-3 July, a mother and her young daughter, along with two other women, were killed in Sumy Oblast as a result of a Russian drone attack. A man was injured.
