Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized a Kh-59 guided air-to-surface missile and 130 drones launched by Russian forces in an overnight attack that began on the evening of June 30.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

Starting at 18:00 on June 30, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from temporarily occupied Crimea, a Kh-59 guided air-to-surface missile fired from the Black Sea, and 151 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas drones, as well as Parodiya decoy drones. The drones were launched from Russia's Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions, as well as from the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea.

The aerial assault was repelled by fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 07:30 on Wednesday, July 1, Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or suppressed one Kh-59 guided air-to-surface missile and 130 enemy drones over northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.

Hits by 17 strike drones were recorded at 16 locations, while debris from intercepted targets fell at four locations.

Information regarding the impact site of the ballistic missile is being clarified. No reports of damage or casualties have been received.

The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still detected in Ukrainian airspace.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian forces attacked a passenger minibus with a drone in Kherson on the morning of July 1, killing two people and injuring five others.
