Air Defense Forces shot down 150 of the 164 drones used by the Russian troops to attack Ukraine since the evening of March 29.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 29, the Russians attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as 164 combat UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types and other types of drones from the following directions: Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Chauda, and Hvardiiske (Crimea). And about 90 Shahed-type drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 30, Air Defense Forces shot down or neutralized 150 enemy UAVs.
Ballistic missile strikes and 12 strike drones were recorded at seven locations, as well as the fall of downed targets (debris) at two locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace, the Air Force warned.
As reported by Ukrinform, an air raid alert was declared across Ukraine on the night of and morning of March 30 due to the takeoff of a MiG-31K fighter jet in Russia.
