Air Defense Forces shot down 79 of the 88 drones used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine since the evening of June 21.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, the Russians launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as 88 Shahed-type combat UAVs (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya-type decoy drones from the following directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Hvardiiske (Crimea), and the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk.
The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 22, Air Defense Forces shot down or neutralized 79 drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Impacts from a ballistic missile and five attack UAVs were recorded at six locations, and debris from downed drones was found at nine locations.
The attack is ongoing, with enemy drones still in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the evening of June 21, Russian forces launched an Iskander ballistic missile strike on an agricultural enterprise in the Odesa region, killing one person and wounding three.
On the night of June 22, Russian drones struck two civilian merchant ships heading for Ukrainian ports; an Egyptian citizen was killed.
On the morning of June 22, in the Shostka district of the Sumy region, a child and two adults were killed when a Russian drone struck the home of a large family.
